Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

This Sunday we return to our Stories That Matter sermon series.  Rev. Jim Warren will teach about the remarkable story of Esther in both services  (read the scripture here).  About the story and his sermon, Jim says, " The Persian king has threatened to destroy the Jews. Esther, a Jew, has become queen in Persia, and she reluctantly agrees to help her people. Esther's relative Mordecai conjectures perhaps Esther's purpose is 'for such a time as this.' In difficult and troubled times God raises individuals to struggle for justice."

Come hear outstanding music by the Chancel Choir at the 9:00 service and the One and All Band at the 10:15 service.   Enjoy a light breakfast at the One and All service.

Please remember that your presence and your vote are very much needed at the congregational meeting this Sunday directly after the 9:00 service.  If you plan to attend One and All, please come to the sanctuary first, around 10:00 a.m.  We will vote on the 2019 Budget ( read it here).

Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor. Greet someone another member has greeted!  Several contacts truly make a person feel welcome.  A great resource for helping a visitor is the bulletin, and you can also walk them to the Information Center for another warm greeting and more information.
