VACCE Member Updates 
Farmville Area Chamber 
The Chamber is planning their third annual Holiday Home Tour, and they are partnering with their newest boutique hotel.  The event is scheduled for December 8 and includes seven Farmville homes, Longwood University's Rotunda, and the Centra Hospitality House.

Hopewell/Prince George Chamber 
The Chamber has found a most amazing retired PR professional who is now "volunteer staff" and she does PR for us.  She has added so much to our team; we've learned so much from her; and she loves the connectivity it brings as well as the continuous learning.  So put out a request for retiree expertise in your community.  You might be surprised.

Lexington-Rockbridge Chamber 
The Chamber serving Lexington, Buena Vista, and Rockbridge County will host their Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 8 at the Virginia Horse Center.  The program will include the presentation of the 2018 People's Choice Awards, a look ahead at ways to engage in Chamber initiatives in 2019, as well as recognition of their new and distinguished members.

Loudoun Chamber 
The Chamber is excited to announce a new member joining the team!  Ali Werner joined the Chamber as the new Member Relations Manager on October 29th.  Ali was a previous member of the Chamber for five years as the general manager of a local event venue and inn before joining the Chamber team.

Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance 
Institute for Organization Management, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, has appointed Megan Lucas, IOM, CCE, CEcD, CEO and Chief Economic Development Officer of the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance, Chair of the National Board of Trustees and Christine Kennedy, IOM, CPC, ELI-MP, COO and Vice President of the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance, as chair of the Southeast Board of Regents.
