THE MITTEN TREE
Please consider donating to the "Mitten Tree" Campaign on now at the
St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre.

Where: 1932 Welland Canals Parkway, St. Catharines
When: Until January 4, 2020, during regular Museum hours.
What: New, home-made or store bought hats, mitts, scarves, jackets and snow pants for children and adults.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2020 St. Catharines Arts Awards! Help honour St. Catharines' artists, residents and businesses by nominating them in one of the following categories:
  • Arts in Education Award
  • Emerging Artist Award
  • Established Artist Award
  • Making A Difference Award
  • Patron of the Arts Award
  
Arts Awards recipients will be honoured on Friday, May 1, 2020 at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre.

Please note that due to maintenance at City Hall during the month of December, the Transformations exhibit will be removed from viewing starting December 7th. It will open again for viewing in the New Year.

Holiday Programs at the  St. Catharines Museum 
When: January 2 to 4
Drop-in, admission by donation.
A variety of engaging activities including Merritt's Mystery Treasure Hunt Crafter's Corner, Museum Play Date and Build-A-Boat Challenge.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

What: The Niagara Funders' Alliance is a partnership of private, public and corporate sector funders who work collaboratively for the well-being of the community by sharing knowledge and information related to community resources, needs, priorities and trends.

The Cultural Services office is a division of the City of St. Catharines' Parks, Recreation and Culture Services department. Cultural Services focuses on public art, community development, planning and policy related to arts and culture in the City of St. Catharines.
