UPCOMING PROGRAM

Our Presentation Speaker this week is Dr. V. Brooks Dunbar, the CEO and founder of The Center for Confidence LLC. She is a Life Coach, Public Speaker, and Consultant in Florida and strives to create life-changing opportunities to help women and all people reach their full potential.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Last week we welcomed Scott Grant of Standfast Asset Management. Mr. Grant gave a very interesting account of events during the Summer of 19 64 that put Jacksonville on the world stage. These include the civil rights protests in St. Augustine that helped pave the way for Congress to pass the Civil RIghts Act , Hurricane Dora, and the Beatles coming to town .

This Wednesday we will be having our first New Member Orientation of the year. Welcome to all of our newest Club Members! We look forward to having you on board!

MONTHLY GOLF OUTING -

Deercreek Country Club

Officials know Deercreek's Robert Miller-designed layout brings out the competitive golfer in each of us with its challenging carries, demanding doglegs and sentinel pines lining the fairways.

Great shots are applauded here not only by your playing partners but also by the wing-beat of snowy egrets, ducks and great blue herons. Fast and true, our greens rise like emerald isles guarded by bunkers and gentle mounding.

NEW MEMBERSHIP COMPETITION

This year we will be holding a New Membership Competition! A prize of $250 will be awarded quarterly to the person who brings in the most new members for that period, with a minimum of three.
