ACE PARTNERSHIP!
ACHPER is very pleased to announce that a new long-term National Partnership arrangement has been recently signed with one Australia's leading NSO's - Tennis Australia.

Tennis Australia has been an ongoing Partner of ACHPER for a number of years, but the new arrangement, acknowledges the value of creating a long-term partnership that will benefit stakeholders of both organisations.

From an ACHPER perspective, the relationship with Tennis Australia has been very important. As the peak professional association representing teachers and other professionals working in the field of HPE, to have the support of a major NSO like Tennis Australia, allows ACHPER to better support all its stakeholders throughout Australia. Their ongoing commitment to regional Australia is especially acknowledged.

Tennis Australia has established a benchmark school program in Australia, and has been praised for the inclusive way it goes about engaging teachers and educators in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors.

Located against a backdrop of rapid engagement across the education spectrum Wyant and Baek explore the seeming reluctance of physical education teachers to engage with technology in the delivery of the subject, as a curriculum practice in schools.  In this article they explore some of the factors that influence teachers' engagement and non engagement with technology, and contemplate strategies that might encourage meaningful adoption.
