From the desk of our
S.T.E.A.M. Lab
This week we continued learning about recycling and working on our mural. Students learned that to keep our oceans clean we need to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Everyone enjoyed seeing the mural come together. Please keep sending in your caps. We can't wait to show you our finished product (which will be auctioned as part of the 50th Anniversary Gala silent auction).

Bluebonnet Art
Students who participated in the Texas Bluebonnet Reading Program were treated to a special art activity with Ms. Bryant. One of the books they read is entitled Grand Canyon. Ms. Bryant used a Georgia O'Keefe paining as an inspiration for students. Once student work is completed, a date will be set for a gallery walk and reception for our readers. We hope that we can do this by the end of March when it is warmer and we can use our beautiful outdoor space for a gallery stroll. Details and dates are forthcoming.
