Dear SMCS Families,

Thank you for your continued support! Our second week of school went very well. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as everyone gets into the new routine.

Please continue to have your children practice wearing their masks. Everyone has done a great job with this so far. Based on the latest recommendations from the CDC, we are going to discontinue neck gaiters as allowable face coverings. Neck gaiters have not been shown to be as safe or effective as other face coverings. This change will go into effect on Monday, September 14, for the safety of all students and staff. The information from the CDC can be viewed here.

Thank you again for all of your support! Have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,
Dr. Kathleen Cox
