Small Business Saturday
Nov. 24 is small business Saturday. This event encourages everyone to shop local and support their downtown businesses.
 
Many Seacoast communities are participating, including Durham , Dover , Newmarket , and Exeter . Among the communities participating in Plaid Friday on Nov. 23 are Portsmouth and Dover , which is encouraging two back-to-back days of shopping local!
Durham's Green Roof event
Join the Durham Planning and Building departments and the Agricultural Commission on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. to learn about green roofs. Mark Winterer, owner and operations director of Recover Green Roofs will provide information on the many benefits of green roofs.

Seacoast Eat Local Farmer's Markets
Saturday, Nov. 10, marked the start of the Seacoast Eat Local Winter Farmers Market series. The region’s next farmers market will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1, at Wentworth Greenhouses in Rollinsford.
