Looking Towards the Future
As our new President, Nicholas (Nick) Fasolino has been with ARP Materials (formerly Alternative Rubber & Plastics) since 1998. Over the past 20 years Nick has helped grow the organization from a small, family owned distribution company to a major raw material provider to the rubber and plastics Industry. He has worked in various positions throughout the organization from ISO to Sales and eventually becoming part of the Management team. Nick enjoys working directly with customers and vendors to understand how ARP can add value and streamline the distribution process. Nick has dedicated his career to providing customers with quality products at a great price, which in-turn has allowed him to develop great relationships throughout the industry.

Nick said, “We have seen a tremendous amount of growth over these past 10 years, which is a direct result of the hard work and dedication from our staff, customers and vendors. We are constantly updating our systems and processes in order to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations when it comes to providing them with the products they need to be successful.”

Nick plans on continuing down the path that Jerry Sr. and Jerry Jr. started by continually looking for ways to improve the distribution process in order to make it as efficient as possible. He has always believed that if you are honest and consistent in what you do, while providing cost efficient/quality products, customers will appreciate the value you add to their organization.

When not at work, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife Marisa and their two children Mia and Nicky Jr. He enjoys being active whether it’s hiking, biking, playing sports or helping coach his kid's baseball/softball games.
Every month, we will highlight a different member of our team!

INDUSTRY TRENDS & UPDATES
UPDATE ON CHINA TARIFFS
While it's no surprise that the fear of looming tariffs on products that effect our industry became a reality, ARP Materials is still fighting back.

Now, just a few weeks past the August 23rd start line, we are keeping a steady pace in our fight to remove CPE from the tariff list - since we have no finish line or end date in sight. Although the administration has not shared any intention of an end to the tarffis, we are actively working with a litigation attorney to have CPE removed from the tariff list entirely. We remain optimistic and we will share any updates you, our loyal customers. We thank you for your understanding while we work through these tariffs.
