Would you like to donate and dedicate the altar flowers for a week?

It's easy to do and a beautiful way to remember a loved one, offer a special intention or a thanksgiving for a special grace, and celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. Your donation can do all that and beautify the Church too.
Here's how it works:
Flowers are used during weekend Masses and remain on the altar all week.
Dedications for Altar flowers will be listed in the Church Bulletin.
Donations for the flowers are tax deductible.

You can donate for any or all of the following:
Altar, Pedestals, St. Joseph, Blessed Mother.
This weeks recipient is:
JOSEPH RUIZ

COKAS MARCH FOR LIFE 2019
January 18, 2019 was a fantastic day for COKAS. Approximately seventy people, three times the normal number of participants, joined together to wave and applaud while carrying signs in a peaceful demonstration in front of church. Thanks to all who participated, including our pastor, Father Michael!
Please continue to pray for Respect Life issues.
To All “Prayers”:

If you would like to be part of a ministry that does not require meetings or schedules, please consider being one of the “prayers” for our Prayer Chain Ministry

Just send an email that you are interested in praying for those in need of prayers. Include your email address and/or telephone number and we will contact you with the names whom we will be praying for.

If you are requesting prayers for yourself or someone else, please contact Elaine Jaworski at  prayerchain.cokas@gmail or elainejj@bellsouth.net or 770-757-9778. The list will be updated monthly. You will be contacted by email or phone to keep our list current.
COKAS CUP GOLF TOURNAMENT
APRIL 15, 2019

The “Giving Back to the Community” Golf Tournament held by Christ Our King and Savior Church is set for April 15, 2019 at Harbor Club on Lake Oconee. The 18 hole tournament is a scramble format. Players will be competing for the COKAS Cup Challenge sponsored by BankSouth.

Last year’s golf tournament raised over $32,200 for Community Outreach Programs for Greene, Putnam, and Hancock Counties. Plans are underway for an exciting and fun day of golf at Harbor Club with the opportunity to win valuable prizes.

We are looking for single, doubles, and foursome ladies, men and couples golfers. The tournament committee will be glad to assign golfers to teams. For details and registration, go on-line to cokas.org. or call Mark Holihan (770) 403-5702.

Sponsors are also needed. For as little as $200, a sign with the family name will be placed on the various holes, just like in the Masters tournament. Please consider being a valued sponsor as well.
Thank you for your generosity

Thanks to the generosity of COKAS parishioners, the Knights were able to distribute 132 coats to kids. Coats were distributed through the parish, Martha’s Closet in Sparta, the Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club in Greensboro and Catholic Charities of Georgia in Atlanta.
