Earl Sears, our outgoing State Representative for District 11, will be our special guest speaker. Mr. Sears has enjoyed several years of service to the Collinsville area and have been a strong supporter of the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce. We would love to honor him with a full house for a proper farewell!
If you were unable to join us at our last luncheon, please make note that we are in a new location at the Veterans Building on Main Street! Lunch will be catered by Big John Restaurant & Catering and the planned menu is roast beef with some delicious sides and dessert. If you pre-register by noon on October 2nd, you will receive a discounted price of $10 for lunch. You are also welcome to join us without a reservation for the price of $15.
You don't have to be a Chamber member to attend -- all are welcome! Please invite your business colleagues who might be interested in the Collinsville Chamber or in hearing Mr. Sears speak.

The Collinsville Chamber of Commerce is planning a family bingo event for Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Veterans Memorial Building at 909 W Main Street.
The bingo event, named Turkey Bingo since it takes place a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving, will serve as a fundraiser for the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce. The funds raised from this event help the Chamber to expand their programming, which supports local businesses.
Between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, approximately 30 games of bingo will be played with bigger, better prizes for winners of all ages. Prizes include, but are not limited to, frozen Thanksgiving turkeys, gift cards to local businesses and restaurants, toys and games, a Roku, and more! The grand prize given away at the end of the evening will be a flat screen HDTV. Concession items such as bottled water, soda, pizza, and candy will be available for purchase.
Admission prices are $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids 12 and under. Admission prices will include three bingo cards per adult and one card per child. Additional bingo cards may be purchased for $2 per card. Cards are reusable, allowing you to play all night for more chances to win!

Have you heard about 1000 for 1000? Chamber member
Slush Face Slushies is working hard to give back to our community and they need your help! Their goal is to sell 1,000 slushies in Collinsville. Once they reach this goal, they will donate $1,000 total to Arubah Community Clinic, Collinsville Education Foundation, Ward Wiseman Animal Haven, and Dividing Bread Ministry.
Slush Face Slushies will be set up outside the Veterans Building this Thursday, October 4 during our October Membership Luncheon. You will have the opportunity to get free samples and vote for their next flavor offering. In addition, you have the ability to purchase a full-size slushie that will count towards the 1000 for 1000! Invite your friends -- even if they can't make it to our luncheon, they can swing by for a frozen treat!
