Calling All Poker Players!
Texas Hold-em Poker Tournament
Temple Ahavat Shalom - Sponsored by The Men of TAS
Sunday October 21, 5pm Start
If you aspire to become the next Phil Helmuth or Annie Duke, or are simply a recreational poker player who would like to try your hand at a real Texas Hold-em tournament, join the Men of Temple Ahavat Shalom on Sunday, October 21. The proceeds will benefit our temple, religious school and the ECEC.
In the last year, MoTAS has used the proceeds from previous efforts to donate the following for the temple:
- New microphones that have transformed the sound from the bimah
- Cantor Ken's replacement guitar
- Materials for the main office kitchenette
- Light fixtures for the Sanctuary bathrooms
- Lighting and electrical updates to the Social Hall kitchen
- A temporary stage for ECEC
- A power washer to clean ECEC playground equipment
Help MoTAS achieve our 2018-19 goals by participating as a Player or Sponsor in this year's tournament. Register to play for just $80, half the cost of any other charity tournament in Los Angeles.

- Stack of Chips Sponsor @ $720. Provides commemorative poker chips with your logo.
- Dealer Button Sponsor @ $180 per table or $1800 for all tables. A special dealer button for each of our poker tables will be imprinted with your logo or message.
- High Hand Sponsor @ $500. $50 goes to the high hand of the evening.
- Cut Card Sponsor @ $360 for all tables. A special deck cut card for each of our poker tables imprinted with your logo or message.
