in the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion Recent rises in discrimination and hate crimes have shown us that our advocacy, training and youth services have even greater opportunity to affect change in our community and beyond.

High school junior Isaiah's life was changed by participating in our leadership camp, IncluCity:   "IncluCity allowed me to see a different perspective of people... to increase my empathy, to see people sitting by themselves and say, 'Hey, you want to come over and sit by us?' " Help us increase our services so more kids like Isaiah can experience IncluCity and ensure that every student can feel included!

IncluCity: "I was finally able to accept myself for who I am..."

We did it! Another transformational IncluCity camp weekend closed out on December 3rd! We had over 70 students from OPS (Burke, North, Northwest, and Blackburn) Doane University, Todd County in South Dakota, and Creighton Prep. These students were incredible and the bonds they created, just like all of our camps, will last far beyond these 4 days. IncluCity Camp not only impacts the students but we get to see how this informs school faculty and teachers’ work as well.

2nd Annual FriendsGiving: NOT Snowed Out!

Our 2nd annual FriendsGiving was a great success - despite an early winter storm that threatened to cancel the event.

Omaha native Amber Ruffin shared laughs, stories and wisdom ("FriendsGiving: When you give your friends away...") and joined the Inclusive Communities staff onstage at the Slowdown to discuss our programming and its continued effect on the Omaha community.
