With no school on Monday I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Here are a few items to catch up with.
PTO Gala The FH PTO Annual Gala will be held next Saturday, February 23rd at the Desert Canyon Golf Club from 6:00pm-11:00pm. Tickets can be purchased on the PTO's website at http://www.fhusdpto.org/. You can also browse through the items available for bid or purchase. This event is the primary fundraiser for the PTO and, as I have written previously, the funds support many important programs and activities for FHUSD students.
FH Great Fair and FHUSD Students As most of you are aware, the annual Fountain Hills Great Fair is also next weekend. Adding to the artists and craftsmen this year will be our very own FHHS Life Skills Program. Sierra Anway's class will have their own booth Friday and Saturday in the parking lot on the Avenue across from Chase Bank where the students will be selling their tie dye creations. Mrs. Pruitt also has her Key Club students participating throughout the weekend. Some will be volunteering for the Chamber of Commerce by manning the ramadas, picking up trash and keeping the tables clean. Another group will be volunteering for Sunset Kiwanis selling fry bread at their trailer. We are quite proud of our student involvement in this town event.
Superintendent's Fentanyl Message Update The Text-a-Tip steps I put in the letter sent out to families yesterday has been updated. This process for notifying the MCSO with anonymous tips has been changed to a phone app. You would need to download the "P3 Tips" app to your phone to be able to report suspicious activity.
