The Chamber Helping You Online!
I was at the annual WCCE (Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives) conference last week and picked up a couple ways that we can easily help YOU get noticed online.
It is important in today's world with everything online and being technology driven that your business have a presence online. Why not take advantage of "free" opportunities!
What is the first thing that people do today to find a phone number or address or even a type of place? They google it! They use google search to find that phone number, address, hours that you are open, message you etc. Another reason they google you is that a lot of people and businesses no longer have land lines. You are not listed in phone books etc.
So, right now take 30 minutes and get YOUR business in Google My Business, so that you can be found and people will call You and come to Your business. Go to: www.gybo.com
It is
FREE
!
We are google searching all of our business members to see who is out there, who has a completed search, and to help those that are not on yet. We will be calling you if we don't find you to help you with that next step in helping to make your business successful!
If you have question, please call us at the office. We are here to HELP YOU!

NEW Investment Structure Coming!
To make it easier for businesses to budget their funds for the year we are working on restructuring our billing cycle.
We have officially moved our fiscal year from October 1 to January 1. Some of you will notice that you are getting prorated billings now as we are preparing for the change over. We appreciate your cooperation with this.
Beginning November - January ALL of our members will be billed for their dues/investment with the Chamber.
Along with this will also be a list of our sponsorship's available throughout the year. You will be able to choose what you want and pay with one check at the beginning of the year.
Watch for the new format coming!

Bert's Joke of the Month
Just Pull the tooth!
A man and his wife walked quickly into a dentist
office. the man said to the dentist, "Doc, I'm in one heck of a hurry. I have two buddies sitting out in my car, waiting for us to go play golf, so forget about anesthetic, I don't have time for the gums to get numb. I just want you to pull the tooth, and be done with it! We have a 10:00 am tee time at the best golf course in town and it's 9:30 already. I don't have time to wait for the anesthetic to work!"
The dentist thought to himself, "Well, well, well, at last, a golfer with real guts!" So the dentist asks him, "Which tooth is it Sir?"
The man turns to his wife and said,
"Open your mouth honey, and show the dentist".
