What kind of books are
That's the number one question I get asked all the time.
- Are they reference books?
- Are they coffee table books?
- Are they bathroom reading?
Of course, I laugh because I've heard it hundreds of times.
I then respond by saying they're actually all of the above.
They're not like reference books in terms of them having detailed forensic facts, figures and pictures, but you will surely pick up a lot of good, accurate, information by studying the photos and reading the narrative.
They're not like coffee table books that are filled with nothing but big color pictures that you pick up from time to time to get that "feel good" reaction. My books will make you want to read the who, what, when, where, why and how behind the photos. My captions will make you look at a picture for the second time because you read something in the caption that you missed when you first glanced at the photo.
Bathroom reading...well, that's your own "business".
