CLASS SCHEDULES
Each school is finalizing class lists and master schedules. This is a unique year considering more than 40% of CCISD students have elected a complete online experience, which has added a layer of complexity to matching students with CCISD teachers within their zoned school to deliver that instruction remotely.

Those schedules and class lists will be ready no later than Friday, August 21, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Families can view their schedules at that time via Skyward Family Access and click on the Schedule tab.

If an intermediate or high school student sees a problem with a schedule, do not worry. There will be time on Monday, August 24, 2020 to resolve schedule issues with your counselor.

As we prioritize safety and student needs throughout this school year, we will need to make various adjustments each nine weeks. This may impact your child’s assigned teacher(s). Grade level teacher teams are in constant communication about all students’ needs in their grade and are prepared to provide students nurturing and effective learning environments.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
It is right around the corner and the CCISD team is ready. The first few days in a traditional school setting are about relationship building, fixing and changing class schedules, and getting to know the rules of the school. This is what students will experience the first couple of days of online school. We will need to train students on technology applications and software, create classroom relationships, and go over academic expectations, etc.

On the first day of school, students should log into the CCISD Single Sign On (SSO) Portal and go to itsLearning. It may be a good idea to print the schedule from Skyward and post it on the computer or take a picture of it to access on a phone to minimize the need to go from itsLearning to Skyward to view the schedule. After a few days, just like in a traditional school setting, students will memorize their class schedule.

ELEMENTARY TECHNOLOGY DEPLOYMENT
Elementary schools will be deploying student devices on Friday, August 21, 2020 for students in grades 4 and 5. For families who indicated they did not have a personal device at home in grades K-3, campus staff will contact you to pick up a device.

If families have personal devices at home, please consider turning in your district issued device so that other students in need may receive computers to use while learning at home. You may return a device to:

CCISD Technology Learning Center
330 Iowa Street, League City, Texas 77573
Monday, August 17 - Thursday, August 20
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

With devices going home to elementary families, parents will need to consider purchasing insurance through the school district for $20.00 for the year or assume the financial cost if a device is damaged, lost or stolen. Click here for instructions on how to request insurance.
REQUIRED SOFTWARE UPDATES
learning_enter_key.jpg
CCISD students with CCISD issued devices need to connect to the Clear Creek ISD Network for important software updates, very similar to the regular updates you must do on your work or home computers. This update can be made simply by driving up to your school. When outside, turn on your CCISD issued device and connect to the CCISD Wi-Fi prior to August 24, 2020.

  • Make sure the device is connected to CCISD wireless
  • Open Software Center
  • Select the School Startup Updates app that pops up
  • Click install
  • Once the window closes reboot the device and that will complete the process
