Tauber faculty select John Alfirevich as the 50th TIME Dealer of the Year

A Tauber Institute faculty panel selected John Alfirevich of Apple Chevrolet as the 2019  TIME Dealer of the Year. The TIME Dealer of the Year program honors new-car dealers who exhibit exceptional performance in their dealerships and perform distinguished community service. Alfirevich received the prestigious award on January 25th at the opening session of the 102nd annual National Automobile Dealers Association convention in San Francisco. In appreciation of the Tauber faculty's contribution, TIME and Ally have established an annual scholarship for Tauber Institute students.

Congratulations to David Chesney

College of Engineering faculty member and former Tauber advisor David Chesney is one of three faculty campus-wide honored for outstanding contributions to instruction as the 2018-19 Collegiate Lecturers, a title they will retain throughout their careers at the university.

Tauber students, alumni, faculty, staff, and Industry Advisory Board members will make Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program, Ypsilanti Meals On Wheels, and Argus Farm Stop top clients for the day by donating their time and talent to help solve operations issues for these exceptional community organizations.
