2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Richard Foye, local author and former New London High School administrator,
will give a talk at the Public Library of New London about his book:
Foye and the Filipinos: Bailout, Escape, and Rescue
of a Navy Fighter Pilot in World War II Luzon.
The book is written about his father, William "Bill" Foye, a U.S. Navy Aviator who
was shot down over the Philippines during WWII and rescued by the people of
Luzon. It is a tale of survival, bravery, sacrifice, and love.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.
All proceeds beyond the cost of printing will go to:
The Bill Foye Philippine Scholarship Fund.
A copy of the book is also available for checkout at the library.

English for Speakers of Other Languages Program:
English classes for those whose native language is not English have been
offered at New London Adult Education since 1910, helping thousands of
adults enter the mainstream of American life.
Classes will be held at the Library Monday through Thursday.

Baby Cafe USA is aimed towards new mothers, nursing moms and pregnant

how to support breastfeeding.
From 10:30am till 11:30am the Children's Department will be doing a Story Time best suited for infants from birth to 12 months. Siblings are welcome.
