CATHY MARK: Peterborough
Cathy Mark's  unique and original  metalwork is a direct reflection of her surroundings, local flora and fauna being her main inspiration. Her metal pieces portray nature and all its beauty. Even in primary school the combination of tree and rock was a favourite subject for her artwork and to this day, iconic windswept pines dancing atop locally harvested rocks and burls are her most popular works.  Cathy works from her home studio on the north shore of Lake Scugog.

RHONDA UPPINGTON: Port Perry
Working confidently in many mediums, Rhonda Uppington makes handmade ceramic tiles, vessels and jewellery; mosaics, relief and collagraph prints, as well as wet-felted bead jewellery. Combining printmaking techniques with ceramics allows her to enjoy both mediums simultaneously. The natural world influences her work. "Through carving plaster and linocut stamps, I am able to leave my personal mark on the clay surface." Her work is unmistakeable and we're sure you'll appreciate the fine beauty of her work as much as we do.
