With the record-breaking shutdown and "Trump-Paloosa" in our rearview, and the State of the Union still in limbo, at least for now, I offer this brief State of the Chamber...
2019 is off to a flying start, and the state of the South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce is stronger than ever! Coming off a very well attended T3 event last month at The Electric Palm Restaurant (our thanks and welcome again to new member Cody Thomas, we've got a great breakfast event coming up on February 21 in conjunction with the Workhouse; planning is well underway for a great Annual Meeting and Teen Job Fair this April; and I look forward to announcing new and exciting Fourth of July plans, and so much more for the coming year.
We are pleased to welcome our first new member of 2019, family law attorney extraordinaire, Heather Cooper of Cooper Ginsberg Gray PLLC, and I am also very pleased to announce the Chamber's recent engagement of Fairfax Station's Sandy Latta as our new part-time, Assistant Executive Director, and Mr. Kevin Tracy of Alexandria, who will be assisting in continuing to grow our membership.
