The 10th Anniversary will be a year-long celebration commemorating the USRCC's 10 years of existence. Join us in celebration at our events and support us in continuing our mission!

Trade Mission to Moscow and St. Petersburg Economic Forum
June 2-8, 2019

The U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce (USRCC) invites you to participate in a Trade mission to the    St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Participants will have an opportunity to meet Russian government officials and some of the most influential leaders in U.S.-Russia trade and investment relations. The USRCC will coordinate private meetings, an exclusive CEO Roundtable and introductions, in addition to attending the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPEIF).

Participating companies will gain market insights, make industry contacts, solidify business strategies, find business partners, and advance specific projects with the goal of increasing U.S. trade and investment to Russia.

Mexico: Shell enters Colima state with new stations

Petrolplaza.com, February 13, 2019: Shell inaugurates its first gas station in the Mexican state of Colima as it continues to expand across the country. The new opening adds to the 150 sites currently operating in the states of Puebla, Querétaro, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Coahuila, Aguascalientes, Estado de México and Ciudad de México. Users in Colima will be able to fuel up using Shell V-Power, Shell Super, Shell Diesel and Pennzoil lubricant.  Read more...

Russian oil output to grow by 10% by 2040, to 12.5 mln barrels per day - BP outlook

Tass.com, February 15, 2019: By 2040, Russia will increase its oil output by 10% compared to 2017, to 12.5 million barrels per day, UK oil and gas company BP said in its outlook. Russian gas production is expected to grow by 216 billion cubic meters (+34%), to 851 billion cubic meters in the reported period, the company said. Overall, Russia's primary energy production will grow by 21% between 2017 and 2040, but its share of global production will drop from 10% in 2017 to 9% in 2040.  Read more...
Russia, Colombia lead global oil and gas discoveries

Tradearabia.com, February 14, 2019: Russia and Colombia had the highest number of oil and gas discoveries amongst a number of key countries with three each in Q4 2018, according to leading data and analytics company GlobalData. GlobalData's latest report: 'Q4 2018 Global Oil and Gas Discoveries Review - Russia and Colombia Lead with Highest Number of Discoveries' reveals that globally 23 oil and gas discoveries were made in Q4 2018 comprising, 13 conventional oil and 10 conventional gas discoveries, with no unconventional discoveries in the quarter.  Read more...
Russia wants to double revenues from seafood exports by 2024

Seafoodsource.com, February 12, 2019: In October 2018, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced new governmental targets for the country's agriculture sector, which included a goal of achieving USD 8 billion (EUR 7 billion) in revenue from annual seafood exports by 2024. The goal is a doubling of Russia's current annual export figure - in 2018, the country exported USD 4 billion (EUR 3.5 billion) worth of seafood. And it won't come from catching twice as much fish. Ilya Shestakov, head of the Russian Federal Agency for Fisheries, has said the national catch is projected to rise only 500,000 metric tons (MT) through 2030, thus adding the maximum of 10 percent to the five million MT estimated to be harvested in 2018.  Read more...
Kazakhstan, Iran and Russia sign wheat trade agreement

World-grain.com, February 13, 2019: Representatives from Kazakhstan, Iran and Russia on Feb. 12 signed a Memorandum of Understanding on wheat trade cooperation, paving the way for a more dynamic growth of trade between the countries. According to AzerNews, the ceremony was attended by Kazakh Deputy Minister of Agriculture Gulmira Isayeva, Deputy Minister of Agricultural Jihad of Iran Ali Akbar Mehrfard, Russian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sergey Levin and Veronika Nikishina, a member of the Board for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission.  Read more...
Alibaba sees growth in Russia

Shine.cn, February 13, 2019: Alibaba's logistics arm Cainiao Network said it has signed a letter of intent to strengthen collaboration with Russian Post to help raise efficiency for cross-border trade in a bid to bolster Chinese exports. The two parties will build and upgrade the infrastructure of full-service centers in Russia, providing services for warehousing, orders, parcel handling, sorting and courier delivery, and also increasing capabilities during peak times. "Combining our two parties' experience will improve the quality, cost-efficiency and speed of delivery of goods from China to Russia immensely," said Nikolai Podguzov, general director of Russian Post. "We intend to become a key logistics partner of Cainiao in Russia."  Read more...
India, Russia draw up ambitious agenda in 2019 to boost economic partnership

Russia-China Trade Up 10.8% Year-on-Year In January To $9.2Bln - China Customs Service

Rostelecom expands network in Tyumen, Izhevsk

Telecompaper.com, February 12, 2019: Russian national operator Rostelecom said it plans to deploy Wi-Fi networks this year in 29 villages over five municipalities in the Tyumen region. More than 10,000 residents will be covered by the networks. Fibre lines will be deployed to 26 villages; two villages will be connected over satellite lines. A fibre line to the settlement of Nikolskoye will be built using the existing power supply infrastructure.  Read more...

Azerbaijani Agency for Development of SMEs reps visit Russia

Azernews.az, February 13, 2019: The representatives of Azerbaijan's Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) visited Moscow, Trend reports referring to the agency. This visit has been right after the event organized at the Congress Center in Gabala. During the visit, chairman of the agency's board of directors Orkhan Mammadov met with Minister, Head of Department for Foreign Economic Activity and International Relations, Moscow City Government Sergey Cheremin. During the meeting, the sides stressed that they are interested in development of cooperation.  Read more...
Belarus taking part in Prodexpo 2019 in Moscow

Eng.belta.by, February 13, 2019: Over 80 Belarusian companies are taking part in the international exhibition for food, beverages and food raw materials Prodexpo 2019 which is underway in Moscow on 11-15 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia. "The exhibition has displayed a wide range of Belarusian producers of meat, dairy, bakery, confectionary, alcohol and other products. The exhibition caters for specialists and is aimed at concluding long-term contracts on the supply of Belarusian food products to the Russian market," the press service said.  Read more...

Экспорт российских товаров в Китай превысил импорт китайской продукции в Россию впервые с 2006 года

Vestifinance.ru, 11 февраля, 2019: По  данным Федеральной таможенной службы, в 2018 г. объем торговли между РФ и КНР достиг отметки $108 млрд. При этом торговый баланс России во внешней торговле с Китаем стал профицитным впервые за последние 13 лет.  Экспорт товаров из России в КНР в прошлом году превысил импорт на $3,9 млрд: объем экспорта российских товаров в Китай в период с января по декабрь 2018 г. составил 56,065 млрд, импорт китайских товаров из Китая в РФ за этот же период - 52,218 млрд.  Читать далее...

Vch.ru, 14 февраля, 2019: Поставки говядины из России в Турцию запланированы уже на этот год. Об этом заявил глава минсельхоза РФ Дмитрий Патрушев, передает ТАСС. «Номенклатура [поставляемых в Турцию] товаров в дальнейшем будет расширяться - например, минсельхоз ожидает, что уже в этом году начнутся поставки отечественной говядины», - сказал министр на российском инвестиционном форуме в Сочи. По словам Патрушева, сейчас Россия активно осваивается на турецком рынке. РФ может серьезно увеличить долю экспорта органической продукции в Германию

Aif.ru, 13 февраля, 2019: Вице-премьер Алексей Гордеев после встречи с производителями органической продукции рассказал, что к 2025 году Россия может нарастить экспорт таких товаров в Германию до двух миллиардов евро. Об этом пишет  ТАСС. Сейчас РФ отправляет в Германию аграрной органической продукции всего на 5-8 миллионов евро, что составляет всего десятую часть процента от всей органики, закупаемой Берлином.
