Sharing  a  story of success  !!!

A partnership, collaboration, connection

made in January

Hi,

Your newsletter says you'd like success stories about new  connections. I have one.

At the January 29th Collaboration Workshop one of the attendees approached me after I'd mentioned the Orangeville Urban Harvest Program that I started in 2018. Kim is program manager at ALAS, a day program for adults with different abilities. She would love to engage their dozen or so daily participants in food harvesting with my program. If I can arrange a weekday daytime harvest, I will be pleased to have a keen group of volunteers like hers help. Volunteers are the life blood of so many initiatives and organisations!

The Urban Harvest Program is a project by the Town's council committee OSAT. Inquiries can be sent to me at: urbanharvest@orangeville.ca

Regards,

Martina Rowley
