Couples Celebrating Marriage - All couples celebrating 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, or more years of marriage, are invited by Bishop Frank J. Dewane to an Anniversary Mass in their honor. The Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in two locations: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2 at Epiphany Cathedral, 310 Sarasota Street, Venice, and 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16 at St. Leo the Great Parish, 28290 Beaumont Road, Bonita Springs. Save the Date - The Second Annual Walk to Our Lady is Saturday, May 4, starting at 8:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 1301 Center Road, Venice. Please join Bishop Frank J. Dewane, who along with other participants, will process while praying the rosary 6.6 miles to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Retreat Center, 3989 South Moon Drive. A May Crowning will conclude the walk, which will be followed by lunch. The event is free. Registration details will be available soon.

Rite of Election - On the first Sunday of Lent, March 10, at 2:30 p.m., the Rite of Election will be celebrated by Bishop Frank J. Dewane for the entire Diocese at Epiphany Cathedral. RCIA adults who have been preparing in their parishes will be sent to the Rite of Election. There will be no mailing this year. Safe Environment Training - As part of the Safe Environment Program, the Diocese of Venice requires that all employees and those volunteers who work with children and/or vulnerable adults be fingerprinted and trained in Safe Environment.
