Exciting News for the New Year
Dear Friends:

The last year has been an impactful year for RSVP!

We continued the long standing tradition of presenting RSVP’s Carnivals & Celebrations in May, July and October; launched E-News – our first digital newsletter to bring you important monthly updates; added 2 new events to support our Veterans – Reaching For Zero and Veterans & Their Caregivers Resource Fair; presented 6 Respite Education & Support Tools Trainings (REST) to 64 caregivers, volunteers, and community members; hosted a Dementia Friends Information Session reaching 57 caregivers and citizens in 5 communities; issued a Call to Action utilizing local newspapers, social media, Radio PSA’s, and television commercials to help grow our number of volunteers and create awareness for the Transportation and Respite Programs; and most importantly - RSVP’s team of volunteers and project staff provided more than 8,500 seniors and other clients with a myriad of lifesaving services to help them maintain their independence with dignity.  What a busy year!

We sincerely thank all of the volunteers, family, friends, clients, businesses, grantors, and other supporters who have helped in bringing RSVP’s valuable services throughout rural Nevada.
Java Music Club starts in January. A unique weekly program that offers hands-on, fun learning for persons living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of Dementia or care recipients with a variety of other disabilities such as Cancer, COPD, Parkinson's or Diabetes. Client Testimonial in Pahrump Shows Impact!

"Dear Jan, Thanks for assigning Joanne as an RSVP volunteer for my aunt Pauline. This gave Polly a new friend and really brightened her last days, and it gave me peace of mind and freedom because of the respite care to go downtown and leave her in such good hands. May the RSVP program continue to flourish. Here is a small contribution in my aunt's memory."
