MASU applauds Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's State of the State goal of having 60% of Michiganders hold college degrees or other high-quality postsecondary credentials by 2030. This goal, along with her proposed MI Opportunity Scholarship and Michigan Reconnect programs, are bold and much-needed proposals that will send a message that Michigan is poised to make this necessary commitment in its people, in its employers, and in its future.
