Paramedic Program Pivots
The outbreak of COVID-19 required the hands-on programs at PVCC to implement quick and creative problem-solving in order to help students, like 2020 Paramedic Program graduate, Kyle Kane (pictured), complete the semester and, in some cases, their programs. Nursing Program Expansion Update
During the fall of 2019, PVCC was identified to be a part of a Specialty Nursing program for licensed nurses interested in entering the critical care environment or nurses seeking to increase their expertise in critical care. Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) launched the program at GateWay Community College this spring.

Sarah Masten
What started out as an educational journey in Florida in pursuit of a Psychology degree ended up with Sarah Masten returning to Phoenix and embarking on her journey in the Nursing profession at PVCC. Sarah began completing the necessary prerequisites and securing her EMT certification. She then worked as an EMT while continuing to take additional classes. Read more...

A late-night conversation with his roommate while seated on the kitchen countertop provided the “a-ha” moment for Travis Guinta. He always had an urge to serve his country...but in what way; this was the unknown.
