The anxiety epidemic among youth today might not be a surprise to parents and teachers. What surprises many is that perfectionism is usually a form of anxiety in high-achieving teens. SportsLeader Virtue of the Week
|
One pillar of the SportsLeader program is a weekly virtue that we incorporate into our athletic practices and throughout our school community. Every week, we will share them here to encourage the students to take the virtue into their homes as well!
The virtue of the week is HOPE - The strength to hold that your interior longing will be fulfilled. HOPE is common in sports. We HOPE to win, we HOPE to improve ... May we learn as a team to HOPE for the more important things in life as well.
