Last Friday, I had the privilege of joining fellow singers and songwriters in a benefit concert to support Camila Escobar who is suffering from Encephalitis. So I just wanted to give a shout out to some of my fellow musicianaries who helped lead this night of music and encouragement.

Chris Driesbach has been been one of the most widespread touring artists in the WELS. I know many of you have seen him, and if you haven't, you need to just sit in and enjoy a night with him. His warmth and authenticity, combined with his unique songwriting and musical style is like drinking cool water on a hot day. He'll be launching new music within the next year and you can check his music here!

Chad Walta is a bilingual Pastor at Christ St. Peter in Milwaukee, and Camila is his niece. He has released a CD of his own work, and he shared several songs that he has written including some in Spanish. A fantastic voice, reminiscent of the group "Sons of Korah", he brought a real joy to his set and included the skills of his young daughter as well as a high school guitar player as well. You can learn more about Pastor Walta's ministry here

It's been many years since I had the chance to share in concert with Susan Ann, and it was a treat to finally do so. She has been one of the longest tenured touring artists in our church body, and her love of children and family remains just as clear and evident as the last time I had a chance to work with her. Now living in Watertown, you can follow her music here.
