This year’s coho run in the Lagunitas Creek watershed is the largest in 12 years. 

This season MMWD biologists and our partners have surveyed 324 coho redds (gravel nests), making this the sixth-largest run since systematic surveys began in 1996. The steelhead run is also on track to be one of the largest on record. Read our most recent spawner update .
