Promotion of EU agri-food products at home and abroad
The European Commission launched the calls for proposals for programmes to promote European agricultural products throughout the world and within the EU.
A total of €191.6m was allocated to promotion programmes in 2019, including €181.6m for the co-financing of the programmes and another €10m in case of market disturbance, up from €179m in 2018. The European Commission welcomes European Parliament's position on InvestEU
The Commission's proposal for InvestEU builds on the success of the Investment Plan for Europe – the Juncker Plan - which has already mobilised over €371bn of investments since its launch.
