Wondering what's going on inside Fernway Elementary School? This before-and-after, 360-degree scan of the second floor on the southeast side of the building will give you an idea of how much work has been done. The process of abatement and interior preparations, which began in early December, is expected to be completed by March 1. The construction phase of the project is expected to take 14 months with an expected reopening in August 2020.
The Shaker Schools Foundation thanks the Fernway community for its generous support of the Fernway Forward campaign. Funds raised by the community will focus on the outdoor space at Fernway, based upon input from the community and Fernway Principal Chris Hayward.
