TOPIC: 
According to OSHA, some 2 million American workers become victims of workplace violence each year. Workplace Violence can strike anywhere, at any time and no one is immune. Organizations affected by a violent incident will face extraordinary challenges from the moment the first shot is fired. Even if the company is able to maintain operations in the aftermath, the physical and emotional recovery can go on for months and years after the event. Experts say, that business continuity planning, communication strategies, and personnel issues should be among the top priorities for the organization. 

During this One-Day Class, participants will focus on violence in and around the workplace and will also address violence in public places. They will learn to identify disruptive behavior and the causes of these behaviors. They will gain a better understanding of mental illness and how it can sometimes lead to violent behavior. Students will review case studies from domestic violence in the workplace to an abusive client. From the office to the warehouse. From the university campus to the place of worship. From the mall to a concert. You must me aware of your surroundings. The participants will look the importance of Situational Awareness any time you leave your home. The class includes safety planning, prevention, a sensible response, a plan to react, protection protocols, incident recovery and a zero-tolerance policy. It's all about being prepared!
