SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9th, IS ELF SUNDAY!

This year Trinity will show the love of God and provide a Merry Christmas for 25 area children. Sign-up sheets for stockings and gifts for each child are posted in the hallway of the church.

Show your giving spirit by becoming a Trinity Elf! Consider spending time in fellowship while we collect and package all the gifts. The sign-up sheet for elves is on the church door. Thank you for supporting this ministry. Questions? Contact Donna Krauss, 540-907-1136.

THANKS FOR GIVING CELEBRATION

The Vestry will host a Thanks for Giving celebration this Sunday, November 18, from 10-10:45 a.m. in Barber Hall to thank the Trinity family for completing estimate of giving cards for 2019. We hope parishioners from all three services will alter their schedules a bit and join together for cake and camaraderie as we celebrate our blessings. We will enjoy refreshments -- yes, including cake! -- and the opportunity to meet together as a whole group. There will be no traditional Cafe Trinity on Sunday, November 18, but donuts and coffee will be available after the 8 o'clock service, with the Thanks for Giving event to begin at 10:00 a.m. Please join us in this celebration of our community and our abundance.

Rector's Thoughts
Thank you for giving! No church building or organization exists without the generosity of its members. Faithful parishioners who are mindful of the blessings in their lives often express their gratitude through their giving to the church. Of course, since we’re coming to the end of our Annual Giving campaign for 2019, I hope that many of you have already expressed some of your thanks by submitting your Estimate of Giving for the coming year.

And then plan to come to church this Sunday, not only for worship, but for our Thanks For Giving Celebration. It’s going to take place in Barber Hall from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. complete with good food, fellowship with other parishioners, and a few surprises that we have in store. It is our opportunity as a Christian community to thank each other for our life together at Trinity and for the generosity of so many people that supports everything that we do.

Let us celebrate and rejoice together on Sunday because God has been good to us, not just as individuals, but as a church that is united in the love of Jesus Christ.
