~CEA IS MATCHING DONATIONS - 1 DAY ONLY~
November 27th, 2018

Giving Tuesday is drawing near!   Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports charitable giving, and we are taking it a step further!

This year, Catholic Education Arizona is pleased to offer a Matching Gift opportunity for all Tax Credit Contributions that are made, received, or postmarked on Giving Tuesday, November 27, 2018. CEA will match these Tax Credit Contributions at a 100%, Dollar for Dollar basis!

Innovation Learning Information

Hi St Theresa Families and Friends!

Innovation Learning has been getting into the holiday spirit!  On Tuesday, we made various masks. The students enjoyed making werewolves, witches, pumpkins and Frankensteins! We had fun playing tag with all the different characters.  Wednesday, we did the exploding ghost experiments. We used household items and reused plastic bottles.  Thank you for your plastic bottle donations! We have also been learning about the moon. We are reading both fiction and non-fiction books about the moon, and the students are learning many fun facts!  On Thursday, the students calculated what their actual weight would be on the moon using multiplication and division. We also have been playing true/false moon fact games. Next week, we will be studying the phases of the moon, and putting together a “Moon Phases" flip book.
