IRA Rollover Gifts

Are you at least 70 1/2 and need to take a Required Minimum Distribution each year from your IRA account? Do you love and want to support Women Writing for (a) Change?  You can avoid increasing your taxable income with that distribution, by setting up your gift as a distribution to be sent  directly from  your IRA.

Known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution, this transfer can be accomplished simply, and with tax savings, by contacting your IRA account administrator to set up for a direct transfer from your IRA to WWf(a)C.  The funds must come directly from the IRA administrator to qualify.  As always, please consult your financial advisor regarding your individual situation.

2019 Winter Retreat:  Aging With Intention -- Seeing Ourselves at Last
February 17 - 20, 2019

As we age, the way that society sees us changes. Consider this annual retreat as an opportunity to get a clearer view of who we really are!

Join us as we use Women Writing for (a) Change practices to explore the meaning of seeing ourselves with new eyes. At this retreat you will get lots of time to rest, write, read, and dream. Enjoy accommodations at the lovely Transfiguration Spirituality Center in Glendale. Take this time with us to focus on who you are now and who you see yourself becoming. Facilitated by Diane Debevec, Executive Director of WWf(a)C and Karen Novak, WWf(a)C Facilitator and accomplished novelist.
