Upcoming Trainings

February Webinar Series | Transitions in Parenting
Topic: Trauma and Early Brain Development | Strategies to Support Resilience
Trauma - Early Childhood Practitioners need a strong foundation of understanding trauma and the impact on communities and families. The young brain is developing at a rapid pace with 85% of foundational development complete by age 5. When children experience trauma during the early years it can leave a lifelong impact on the child's overall health and wellbeing. Practitioners who understand the prevalence and impact of trauma can target interventions to meet the needs of children and families to build resilience and strengthen the child's development and family functioning overall.
