The elections are behind us and we are getting into the swing of activity on the state level as the new Governor and Legislature are seated. Now, learn more about what issues we expect to see in the General Assembly and with a new Governor; and, dive into the state budgeting process and how it impacts foodbanks and pantries, from funding to regulatory oversight; and, key steps and dates throughout the budget debate and how we can advocate on behalf of those we serve.

Register now for this extremely informative Advocacy training centered on Best Practices, Building Relationship Tools, and Networking Fundamentals. Please mark your calendars – we will enroll a maximum of 30 people.
You will learn:
  • State funding sources for hunger relief agencies

  • Navigating the state budget process to become an effective hunger relief advocate for funding

  • Advocacy grassroots best practices, including identifying new players at the Ohio Statehouse and how to best share our message with them

This session will be hosted by: Tim White Advocacy Manger with Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
