Dear Parents,
I spend lots of time searching for the best resources and videos for you to use to teach your children at home. They are an important part of the home lessons so please take a few minutes to watch them together.
It has always been frustrating that I could not find a way to link you to some of the best religious videos on the market. They were only available in DVD format. Formed has changed that!
The parish has purchased a subscription to Formed.org.for you. FORMED is a online platform that provides access to the best catholic audio talks, movies, e-books and video-based studies. I would describe it as a combination of Netflix and Audible. You will be using this platform to access videos that you can stream at home. There is no extra charge for this, but you do need to log in and create a password in order to be able to simply click and see some of the video links I provide.
Go to: stodilia.formed.org now to create a password.

Last Wednesday parents looked at media use in their lives. Several people asked if I could send the links to the clips I used in the presentation. Here they are:

I f you would like to explore this topic further, there is a study on FORMED called Modern Media. I have created a community discussion on the St. Odilia FORMED home page and invite you to join the online discussion with others in the group if that is a topic that interests you.

I need a group of parents willing to work with me to help with the Family Service Evening in late January. Let me know if you would be willing to be involved in planning and helping with this event. Email me if you can help

I have included Home session Guides and other resources you will need to help your children complete their at home assignments this week below.

Blessings to you and your family as you continue growing in faith together!
