Tip: Don't drink hot

It’s cold outside – the wind is bone-chilling, the sun is nowhere to be found and you might have just seen a few snowflakes floating in the air. You need something to warm you up and a cup of coffee should do the trick. By filling up your coffee maker with hot water from the tap, you hope the coffee will get to your cup a little faster. Surprisingly, that might be doing you more harm than good .

Saving the environment, one water bottle at a time

Water stations branded with Louisville Water signs and logos are proving popular with travelers at Louisville International Airport.

“Generally, the bottle filling stations were installed and running a few days before July 1, 2018 — with the branding coming soon after,” said Darrell Watson, Vice President of Strategy and Innovation for the Louisville Regional Airport Authority. “So since July 1, we have helped eliminate waste from 115,260 disposable plastic bottles.”

Mystery Solved: Did You Know?

What’s up with that stone circle in Champions Park? Curious Louisville, a podcast produced by the 89.3 WFPL radio station, answered that question for a listener earlier this month. Turns out that the 50-foot wide circle has a lot to do with Louisville Water .
