HELP: Polar Vortex, Winter Weather and MORE!

A Note From Pastor Linda

Dear Friends in Christ,

This is a difficult note to write... and yet, this is what we do in families, when stuff gets tough. We don't ignore the tough stuff, shoving it under the rug hoping that it will go away until it finally trips us up. No, we address it. We talk about it. We ask for help.

Due to many circumstances, including winter weather (both extreme cold, ice and snow) our family is experiencing a significant shortfall in income- so much so that we are holding off on paying some bills and dipping into our reserves so that we can make payroll this week.

Your Hosanna family needs your help. You can click here to make a one-time donation, you can TEXT to GIVE by texting Hosanna to 50155 or bring your General Fund Gift to worship on Wednesday or Sunday. General Fund Giving Envelopes will be available both on Wednesday and Sunday.

The Bible, both Old and New Testament, speaks often about giving:

Decide what amount you want to contribute
voluntarily  out of what God has blessed you with, and bring that as a gift. ~Deut 16
Giving grows out of the heart-otherwise, you've reluctantly grumbled "yes" because you felt you had to or because you couldn't say "no,"  but this isn't the way God wants it . For  we know that  "God loves a cheerful giver." ~2 Cor 9

Thank you for the many ways that you give as you LIVE, LOVE and SERVE so that all will know Jesus.

Grace & Peace,

 ~Pastor Linda
