Video Lottery Terminals public opinion survey
The Town of Stony Plain is currently exploring the idea of relaxing video lottery terminal (VLT) restrictions within the municipality. As a result of a 1990's plebiscite, VLTs have not been allowed in Stony Plain for the last 20 years. The Town is currently seeking feedback from community members to potentially facilitate changes to the regulations.

SandyView Farms turns 35!
July 25th marked 35 years in business for SandyView Farms and we stopped by to help them celebrate along with some Spruce Grove Councillors!

To have a business such as SandyView be an anchor in the community is so important for the vitality of the whole region. What started out as a typical family farm years ago has evolved into what we know and love today, and the best part is that they are still family owned.

Cheers to another 35 years, SandyView!
Chair's Blog
The last five months have been extremely challenging and certainly not what we anticipated at the beginning of the year. Many businesses have been greatly impacted by this economic downturn with innumerable uncertainties on the horizon. Despite these setbacks, I am encouraged to see the level of resilience, resourcefulness and commitment by business owners to survive and thrive during these difficult times.
