COSA Meeting
How does your agency or workspace provide opportunities to address stress?

Mindfulness Workshop
February 28th

Often working in the human service field can be stressful and overwhelming.  Sometimes it's hard to not bring the stress of the job home. Learn tips to strengthen your self-care toolkit at our next COSA meeting.

Relax, decompress and learn mindfulness techniques. Our Mindfulness workshop will be led by Chase Giroux, Supervisor of Intensive Care Coordination at Clinical & Support Options where she also provides agency-wide trainings and mindfulness practices.

Chase brings an integrated approach to her work having practiced Vipassana Meditation, completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course and is currently working toward certification in the practice of Koru Mindfulness; an evidence based practice designed for emerging adults.  Chase practices and teaches mindfulness in the Zen tradition brought to the west by renowned leaders such as Thich Nhat Hanh, John Kabat Zinn and others.  She offers a very accessible and secular approach to using these practices in both educational and mental health care settings.
