Group Q&A:
Before the main presentation, please plan to be a part of our group Q&A session. During this 15 minute session, we'll open the meeting for any Business Analysis questions, or questions related to the evening's topic. This is your chance to leverage the massive collective experience of the chapter to address questions or problems you are facing as a BA and would like to get the groups input. You may also be the one with just the right piece of information or advice for a question raised to the group.

Fall is full swing, and IIBA Denver would like to highlight the following for your consideration.
IIBA Denver meets the 3 rd Wednesday of each odd numbered month in the DTC.  As traffic increases, this location can be a bit challenging for our members living and working in the northwest area.  So, this month, we are trying out another location and series of meetings for even-numbered months. Depending on interest, who knows what could develop?    Our inaugural gathering will be Wednesday, October 17, at the Rock Bottom Westminster Promenade.  We look forward to seeing you!
Have you had trouble explaining how Business Analysis is a return on investment? for any business initiative?  In November, IIBA Denver returns to the DTC to hear our own Judy Cacco lay out a solid business case.  Judy is a past president of IIBA Denver, and she brings a data-based perspective to the question.
Finally, the fall sessions for the Certification Study groups have been a roaring success!  There are a few sessions still left in this series, and if there is enough interest, a spring series is possible.  Please let us know.

September Meeting Recap
by Debbie Rasor, CBAP

At the September Chapter meeting, Chapter VP of Education Tom Vosburg led an interactive presentation on Business Process Mapping. First Tom described the features and processes for Process Mapping. Then the attendees broke into teams and practiced process mapping using the sorting of playing cards as an example. The teams drew charts to communicate their sorting process to the other teams as featured here.
