MUSD understands that in-person instruction is critical to the needs of students. And though we would have loved to begin the year with traditional, in-person instruction, the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic did not allow for on campus learning at the start of our school year. As a result, this summer, MUSD prepared for a new school year unlike ever before. The decisions were very difficult yet strategic, to ensure one thing: Every student can continue to work to achieve grade level standards, feels safe, and is supported to realize individual success...

Our Campus May Look Different,
but We Are Prepared for Your Visit
|
|
Manteca Unified has thoughtful safeguards in place to help protect against COVID-19. Schools are an essential service and we are here to serve, safely. The District has contributed upwards of $1.2 million on personal protective equipment for our staff and students.
The District has ordered 14,644 decals and signage for our offices and campuses that indicate traffic direction, cleaned facilities, promote social distancing, and healthy hygiene habits amid coronavirus.
Sneeze guards are at the front of every office and one per teacher to have in the classroom. You may also notice portable hand-washing stations on site. Our maintenance team has placed a total of 144 portable hand-washing stations and installed additional hand-sanitizing stations on our campuses to supplement the existing sinks.
Whether you’re visiting the front office or have an appointment with a teacher for a student assessment, we are ready.
We’ll be wearing face coverings and ask that you do, too. But in case you forget, we have disposable masks ready for use.

MUSD has received a variety of donations from local organizations and community members. Donations distributed to school sites include over 1,000 backpacks, 30 large boxes of school supplies including 400 notebooks, nearly 1,000 pencils, 20 reams of construction paper, among many other items! We would like to give a shout-out to Linda Little, a retired English and Journalism teacher, who organized the school supplies donation drive within the Woodbridge Del Webb community, home of many retired MUSD administrators, certificated and classified staff. We would also like to thank Costco Wholesale Corporation and Tajinder Singh, M.D., who generously provided the backpacks for our students.
Thank you to our communities for their support. #wereinthistogether!
