New Fee Waiver Confirmation Method
Effective Oct. 1 waiver

A new provision in the Higher Education Act, as directed by federal interpretation, restricts a student's federal financial aid information from being shared with organizations such as the NAIA, regardless of the student issuing consent. The NAIA Eligibility Center has consulted with NASFAA to inform appropriate changes to how we accept fee waiver confirmations in response to the changes in federal regulation. As a result, the eligibility center will implement a new method for confirming fee waivers on Oct. 1, 2018 as outlined in the latest NAIA Membership Guide.
