September e-news from PEPS
Greetings, PEPS family!

Fall is my favorite time of year and this year the transition to a new season is exceptionally big for me. My family and I have made the move back to Oklahoma, to our “roots,” and I am saying a loving farewell to PEPS this week.

My time here has been so meaningful and I have learned so much about community and togetherness. I have worked alongside the most stellar team of staff, board, volunteers and supporters to be a part of a truly transformational time for this very special organization. I could not be more proud to have been a part of this community and I can’t wait to follow and support the exciting work of PEPS to come! If there is anything you need during this transition, please do not hesitate to reach out to the PEPS Acting Executive Director, Dana Guy, at danag@peps.org.

As you transition into fall, I wish you connection to your “roots.” Whether that is a text to an old friend, a FaceTime call with your mom or dad, or a visit to somewhere meaningful to you, connection to people and places can really fill us up.

Grab your favorite warm drink and take a cozy moment to check out the great content below. It has been an honor getting to be a part of your lives these last several years.

Cheers,
Jessica Lawmaster

2018 Year in Review
Over the last year, the PEPS Board and Staff have worked together to develop a new mission and vision and lived deeply into our values of connection, inclusion, and innovation. We learned from our communities about how we can adapt to be more inclusive, made our programming more culturally responsive, and served more than 3,700 parents!

2018 Outcomes Summary
One of the ways PEPS measures impact is by asking parents about their levels of support in our pre- and post-group surveys.

More than 80% of parents surveyed in 2018 agree that PEPS helped them learn about postpartum mood disorders, to normalize mixed feelings, understand child development, feel less isolated, spend enjoyable time with their baby, and meet other parents to relate to.
