Hello All! I hope you all are staying warm. We were due for a good snow storm, I hope the kids enjoy the short week. I want to say I AM SO PROUD of all those who were at rehearsals AND tech this week. We were VERY productive, and the over all feel was this is going to be an amazing show. Unfortunately attendance is still an issue we are having. I am keeping the attendance polity attached and will begin to reach out to those who are close to hitting the 5 max absences. Also, I know some people have yet to be called to rehearsal- please keep in mind that when staging we go in order of the script, and some people are featured more in the first act where others are more in the second. If you are itching for more to do we still need singers/dancers for "Under the Sea" and the Ballroom scene- email me if interested! Enjoy the short week and please read the schedule carefully. Note, because there is no school Friday there will be no Crew Meeting Friday, however the costume leads would like to meet with the Costume Crew and designers Thursday 3:30-5:30 in the cafeteria.

Attendance Policy Reminder

Please review your Crew and Audition Packets for the attendance policy. These packets are online and were given at the first interest meeting. In the packets under Attendance policy it states: "Please make rehearsals a priority! If you miss, it makes it harder for others to rehearse in your absence. The cast is a team and we can only be strong if we work as one! If you miss something it is YOUR responsibility to get in contact with the director to find out what you missed. You may need to come in on a make-up day. Please email Katie Hudson (Director) at khudson@trailsidemiddleschoolpta.org , if you plan on being absent or late. If you are late and/or miss 5 rehearsals, you will be dismissed from the production." .

If you miss a rehearsal, it is up to you to get in contact with a fellow cast mate or Stage Manager and/or to come to a Make-up Day Monday to get any and all missed material. I will hold Makeup Days every other Monday. Remember you can always find the rehearsal schedule and Newsletter on the PTA Website under the musical tab. Please try to make rehearsals a priority, and email me if you plan on coming to a makeup day!

Playbill Illustration Contest

For the first time ever, Wolfpack Productions is going to have the Playbill cover designed by a cast or crew member! Specific instructions must be followed to include:

-Your design/drawing MUST be in vertical (portrait) format and be no larger than 5 inches wide by 6 inches tall.

-The design for the Playbill cover will be printed in color.

-Do NOT write the word Playbill anywhere on your design.

-Do keep mind to leave space for the Wolfpack Productions logo and show dates/times.

-Write your first and last name in pencil on the back or your drawing.

Turn into Katie Hudson by January 28th.

We will not be meeting this Friday because there is no school! We are still looking for the following items since we love to reuse, reduce, recycle! We would love to repurpose the following items if you feel like donating to the production:

. -Pool Noodles

. -Packing Peanuts

. -Cardboard

. -Floral Mesh (assorted colors)

. -Tissue Paper

. -Caster Wheels

. - PVC piping or flexible wood.

. -Casters

. -Bamboo Skewers/Toothpicks

. -Balsa Wood

-Newspaper (in good condition)

Junior ITS Webpage

This year I have been trying to utilize our Facebook Page more often for quick reminders and comments. I will also begin pasting the link to the newsletter there for those who may miss it! If you haven't done so please follow us on our two Facebook Pages- "Parents of Wolfpack Productions" (Parents Only) and "Trailside Middle School Wolfpack Productions". A big thank you to Tobi Rouse for setting those pages up for us!

Volunteer- Committee Leads

A friendly reminder! We still have only 2 committee leads slots we need filled! The positions are Marketing and Tech Dinner! Being a lead does not mean you will have more or less duties for that position it means you are the point of contact in that area and will be in charge of delegating and organizing tasks to your committee. I also would like to clarify that every lead will get multiple opportunities to see the show, so do not let that be what deters you from volunteering... WE NEED YOUR HELP!
