SPPS ACHIEVES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN UPDATE
|
|
Thank you to the participants in the January administrators strategic professional development focus group in support of SPPS Achieves PD Plan. Work continues on drafting a district-wide PD plan to guide the alignment of professional learning with our strategic plan, SPPS Achieves.
A draft of the basics for this plan will be shared at the
March 13
principals meeting.
Until this time, please do not make commitments for the use of district wide PD days, Opening Week and the four contractual monthly meetings
. The plan will address structures and expectations for professional learning communities and other job embedded PD time.
We anticipate having a final plan by March 29.
Please note: The intent of this planning is to create a cohesive framework for professional learning that includes both large-scale district initiatives and building level PD priorities.
