Principal's Message
October 26,  2018
Dear Families and Friends of OLQP:
At OLQP, friendships for life are formed. Fellowship is a product of the Fall Festival year after year. Student athletes build a special bond. The Robotics Team and Chess Team work together and compete together. Students engage in small group projects and make presentations. In middle school, students gather for dances and BUNCO nights. Recently, groups of OLQP graduates who are in high school have joined us for Mass on their school holiday. We work together, play together, and pray together. Sharing the same standards and values strengthens friendships that carry students and families through the "long haul." It is a blessing that keeps giving to be part of the OLQP family.
Thank you for being part of the mission and ministry of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic School.
Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam,
Mrs. Marianne Mechura, M.Ed.

                All Saints Day
A great tradition at OLQP is the All Saints Day Parade. New families may be wondering what that looks like. Students dress as their favorite saints. (The costumes range from the simplest robe to some very creative products. Ideas for Boys, Ideas for Girls) The student body walks in a parade around the campus (weather permitting) which culminates in the gym. Special songs are sung and special readings are shared. Mass follows as we celebrate.

Habitat for Humanity Penny Drive
OLQP is collecting pennies for the annual Habitat for Humanity Penny Drive.  The last day to donate is Friday, November 2nd.
